Students were introduced to the concept of Sequential Art through a powerpoint and discussion.

Then students work with a partner to cut up the panels from the page below and arranged them into a sequence.

Students discussed the roles of the artist, writer and reader as well as a few key terms that help to read a comic.

Students used these terms to decode the text in Eleanor Davis' book Stinky.
