LESSON OBJECTIVE:
Students will hear Imogen’s Antlers read aloud to them. They will be given a worksheet with antlers on it and imagine what they would do if they woke up with antlers. Students will draw these ideas on the worksheet.
MATERIALS:
Imogene’s Antlers
worksheet
Pencils
crayons
ACTIVITIES:
Call the class by tables over to the rug and read Imogene’s Antlers.
Explain the worksheet and have students offer ideas of what they could draw.
Send students back to seats to work on worksheet.
Choose several students to help pass out art supplies and worksheets.
IF STUDENTS FINISH EARLY
If students finish the activity early, they can read a book quietly on the rug.
