Susan Rothenberg Painterly Pictures

Students created oil pastel drawings based on the artwork of contemporary artist, Susan Rothenberg.

They began by reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. Students learned to draw many different animals . . .

. . .and then made two oil pastel drawings in a painterly style.
